Yesterday it was 8/8/2010 - exactly 2 years since we created the Vision Board at Omni Vision during the course I did with you. I had the vision board tucked away for various

reasons but it's now out on a board and in my bedroom and I see it every day. It's amazing it's got me thinking and stretching my mind beyond the now and immediate issues.

Plus 2 weeks ago I made 90 prospecting calls in 3 days!!!  Never have I made this many calls in one hit, one day I made over 45 calls!!  Now I'm in the swing of it and tracking

the calls every day in ACT and am a lot more diligent in making sure they happen. If it wasn't for your course and the role play and your encouragement I would never had made

I believe the training we did last August shone a light of revelation the areas of Sales and Personality types that I needed to see to enable me to make changes to my salesmanship. I learnt that the old way of selling (upside down Pyramid) is dead, these days we are looking to focus our attention on Trust, Relationship, Need, Presentation, Confirm. In the area of relationship building, I believe this training helped me to see that I am naturally gifted in this area of relationship building, and has shown me how important it is.
HOW AM I NOW USING EVERYDAY WHAT I LEARNED? I am NOW more aware with each call I make, that I'm building a relationship with that person- which is growing EACH time I call. Each call I make, I make an effort to be cheerful, pleasant and happy faced. I think it's important to be well liked by the customer, I can then go to the next step and work on their needs, and finally build trust with them enough to handle their business.

I have learned how to find out the real reasons why people say no to buying-no matter what behavioural style they are. With the stair step method we were taught, we can smoke the truth out. When we find out the real reasons for their objections, we can then provide real answers and benefits which answer their real objections.
I could go on...... but that would put Wendy Berry out of a job.

From our meeting back in late August we discussed my work rate and goal setting. I am happy to say on 2 separate allocated days I was able to achieve 70 & 71 calls, which was somewhat unheard of at my Company. This in turn increased the number of client visits I was able to achieve. (172% of my monthly budget for visits). With regards to my end result, I did not set an NCI record for the month, however I did pass $50,000.00 Gross Profit for the first time. (143% of budget).
